The Role
We are looking for a detail oriented and adaptable Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Financial Operations team during an exciting Finance Transformation project.
This is a 6 Months Fixed Term Contract
You will play a key role in reconciling accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy in bank reconciliations, journal preparation, and data management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident working with large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, focusing on AR transactions
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank and internal records
Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Cash Management teams
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate reconciliation documentation for compliance
Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation projects
What We’re Looking For
✅ 1–3 years’ experience in accounting, bank reconciliation, or finance
✅ Strong processing skills with excellent attention to detail
✅ Familiarity with financial systems and tools
✅ Effective communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to work accurately under deadlines
✅ Proactive, adaptable, and confident with change
Desirable
Experience in the veterinary sector
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud-based systems
Background in working within a controls environment
