Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Cathcart and Winn - Farnham, Surrey
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hour week. 1:4 Saturdays. 4 day working week. No OOH.
Salary: £28,000-£32,000/annum, depending on experience
Cathcart and Winn are seeking an RVN to join our friendly, close knit and well-established practice in Farnham, Surrey.
About the Role
This is a full time permanent position. The working hours are:
• 4 days/week: shifts between 8am and 7pm
• 1:4 Saturdays 8.30am-4pm
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• An RVN
• Team spirited and passionate about quality care
• Interested in nurse consults
• Wanting to do Schedule 3 procedures
You’ll be working alongside a wonderful team including 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 3 PCAs and 5 Client care advisors.
About the Practice

• Regular visiting services include – Orthopaedic, laparoscopic and soft tissue surgeries, cardiology.
Here at Cathcart and Winn we utilise our RVNs to their fullest potential encouraging their skills to be used to carry out schedule 3 procedures such as suturing, dental charting and scaling & polishing, and much more. We strongly empower our veterinary nurses with a generous CPD allowance.

Day-to-Day Duties
The role encompasses all nursing skills, including:
• Monitoring anaesthesia and theatre duties
• Schedule 3 procedures
• Ward and inpatient nursing
• Running nurse consults
• Working collaboratively with the vet, nurse, PCA and CCA teams.
