Job Type: Permanent, Part Time (26 hours/week)
Salary: From £21,750 per annum (26 hours/week, incl. enhanced weekend rate, DOE) – Full-Time Equivalent: £30,500 per annum
Plus £1,000 on start date + £1,000 after probation
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys delivering gold-standard patient care during quieter evening hours. Working 4pm–10:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, you’ll be a key part of our wards team, ensuring our patients receive the very best care as they rest and recover.
You’ll nurse a wide range of medical and surgical cases no two shifts are ever the same. You’ll use and grow your skills in:
- Pain management and recovery support
- Catheter and drain care
- Nutrition plans and specialised diets
- Wound management
- Medication administration
- Physiotherapy and mental stimulation
- Theatre and anaesthesia (via our procedure shift rotation)
You’ll work closely with clinicians, anaesthetists, day nurses, night teams and our fantastic PCAs, with full support throughout every shift.
A 1:4 Saturday twilight shift (4pm–midnight) and participation in the Bank Holiday rota is included.

- A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with experience in a similar clinical environment
- Confident working in a busy referral setting
- Organised, proactive and adaptable
- A strong communicator who works well within a team
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Passionate about delivering exceptional nursing care
