Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Palmerston Veterinary Hospital, 93 Palmerston Road, Buckhurst Hill, Essex Salary: £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Palmerston Vets, Buckhurst Hill
Role Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, average 41.5 hours a week. 2 in 6 Saturdays with 1 night per week on call for inpatients only.
Salary: Up to £65,000 dependent on experience
We are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-equipped Buckhurst Hill clinic in East London!

Since opening our first clinic in Buckhurst Hill in 1986, we have built a reputation for delivering expert, compassionate, and personal care to pets and their owners in the local community. This is a full time GP Vet position with our wonderful Buckhurst Hill team, whilst we are searching for a full time team member here, we also welcome applicants who are interested in joining our Romford clinic, where we can accommodate part-time hours.
You will be welcomed by the entire team, including Sarah, our Practice Manager -'I have been part of the Palmerston Veterinary Group team for 23 years. I am a qualified veterinary nurse but have been Practice Manager for the past 8 years. I have 4 adorable rescue cats at home. Team culture and wellbeing is important to me and the leadership team. I enjoy working with the line managers to ensure that we are all having positive talks, a growth mindset, collaborating, engaging the team so they all have job satisfaction and providing them with the skills to develop and reach their full potential."

- Inpatients are cared for on-site at Buckhurst Hill by the nursing team, offering fantastic continuity to patients and clients. OOH’s emergencies are covered by Forest Vets nearby, meaning the on call rota is for inpatient emergencies only and is very rare!
- We are very proud of our fantastic nursing team who are very pro-active and love what they do.
What we are looking for:
- Confidence with routine surgery and consults
- Ability to work in a sole charge Vet environment (with the support of our nursing and CCA team)
